Using Data at Scott Elementary

Data...data...data...

We use data in so many different ways in our schools, but do we truly fine our data meaningful or useful?

Here I am in Austin attending the Advancing Improvement in Education Conference (AIE Conference) and we are speaking a lot about data. One of our sessions have us complete a survey about our perceptions of data usage in our district. This survey sparked an interesting conversation at our table... and Julia Robinson and Kenny Kaye were both sitting at our table so the conversation with VERY interesting... haha!

I left the session wondering what does our campus truly believe regarding using data. So.... I've decided to survey our staff about this. This link will take you to the same questions we answered here at this conference. Please help me out and respond to this survey.

Directions: Read each statement and tell me what you think about them. The scale is similar to our Star Enterprise data with Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green. Red means this is a concern for our campus and Green means we are doing great with this. The survey will take about 5-10 minutes.

Please let me know if you have questions about the directions.
