Just a few Reminders...
The HumanX staff will come and visit with you about your responses to the survey this Friday @ 10:50-12:05. During this time, you will be working together to develop a plan to improve our campus. Dr. Bright and I will not be present with you during this meeting so you can work with the HumanX staff openly. All staff members, please make plans to be present.
Chromebook Workshop
I will be posting some basic tips and tricks to my website about Chromebook uses. Also I plan to have a short come/go workshops on Wednesdays afterschool for some small group instruction about how to use the Chromebooks. These workshops are completely voluntary and will be used to help support your needs. We will be learning together during this time. More details will be coming soon.
Benchmark Testing Dates
Our 3rd and 4th Grade students will be participating in benchmark testing (or Mock STAAR) testing later this month and beginning of next month:

- 4th Grade Writing - Wednesday, January 29 & Thursday, January 30
- 3rd & 4th Grades Math - Monday, February 3
- 3rd & 4th Grades Reading - Tuesday, February 4
Our campus will be closed to outside visitors during this time. We will be using these test scores to help focus your classroom instruction for the rest of year. Please be sure to let parents know the dates for the testing.
iStation/Think Through Math
We are planning to visit with you about how to use these two programs with your students very soon. Please stay tuned for updates.
Curriculum Visit Next Week
Judy Caskey (our Professional Service Provider from TEA) LOVED her visit to our campus yesterday. Thank you teachers for all your excellent work! She will be visiting again Thursday, January 23rd - probably in the morning.
Also, Julia Robinson will be visiting with our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade teachers also next Thursday during their conference times. She will be bringing curriculum data about our students. Please plan according.
