    NEW Information

    Happy Homecoming Week
I hope you all are excited about this week for Homecoming. We encourage everyone to participate as you can for each day. Also, please be sure to take photos and share on your social media accounts to promote our campus/district using #BulldogFamily #ScottSquad as appropriate.

Thanks Brittany Lancaster and Stuart Powley for coming up with these FUN Disney Themed days.

    Fall Tutoring
This year we will be hosting tutoring groups in the fall for 8 sessions (October 18-Nov 10). If you are interested in helping with tutoring please send Brittany Lancaster an email.

    TTESS Goal Setting Conferences
Please take note of the dates/times you are scheduled for your Goal Setting Conferences. ACTION ITEM REQUIRED - Complete the "RCISD T-TESS Teacher Self-Assessment and Goal Setting" at least one (1) day  before your Goal Setting Conference with your appraiser. This gives us time to review your goals and helps the conference to run more smoothly. See the link below for the schedule:

    Employee Payroll Contribution Campaign
Additionally, we are looking for 100% of our staff members to participate in the Employee Payroll Contribution Campaign. Scott Elementary has benefited from the monies given to the Education Foundation through grants awarded to the campus, first-year teacher grants, and staff recognition programs. Also we have received iPads for you to use during instruction because of these monies.

All you would have to do make a One-Time Donation to the Education Foundation OR sign-up for the Payroll Deduction Program (min. of $2.00/month). ONLY $2.00/month!!

If we have 100% participate, we will be recognized by the district and given a sign that will hang in the building so that everyone that walks into the building will know we support the Education Foundation. So let's all contribute that we can get that sign! We have flyers in the front office if you need to sign-up.

North Texas Giving Day | Education Foundation
On Thursday, September 22 - RCISD is hosting the North Texas Giving Day event at the Administration Building. They are looking for 500 donations of at least $25 that will trigger bonus funds for the Foundation. We're exploring some FUNdraiser ideas to get a competition going among the classes.

Mrs. Lancaster had a great time visiting 1st Grade last week...
